On a gently sloped constant descent
With our transfer service, you can park your car here at Abelenda Bike Rental, choose a bike and we will bring you to the other end of the Ecopista in Viseu, or to another place along the Ecopista if you like to do a shorter ride.
Wherever you start, it's almost all the way slowly descending, so very easy to bike.
Two possibilities:
- Transfer at 10.00h to Viseu, cycling 47 km
- Transfer at 12.00h to Farminhão, cycling 30 km
Minimum 2 persons, maximum 20 persons.

Transfer at 12.00h, cycling 30 km
From Farminhão to Santa Comba Dão by bicycle.
- 12.00h: Choose your bike at Abelenda Bike Rental (near Santa Comba Dão), at Km 47 of the Ecopista. You can park your car here.
Transfer to km 16,5 of the Ecopista in Farminhão.
- 12.40h: Start cycling on a gently sloped constant descent, making it very easy to bike, or have lunch first at restaurant "Station Alive", located directly at the Ecopista.
- Just before Km-marker 40 and just before a large bridge, is a very nice river beach (not an oficial one - only local people know about this place). Turn left on a unpaved road to the river (50m). A spectacular spot to have a break, a pick-nick or swim.
- Just before Km 47 you arrive at Abelenda Bike Rental, where you deliver your bicycles.
Price:
- 31,50 € - bicycle hire and transfer of customar and bike. Minimum 2 persons.

Additional information
- All our bikes are equipped with a spare inner tube, tyre levers, a pump and a multi tool. Most standard bicycles have a luggage carrier.
- We are registered at the RNAAT (Tourism Portugal), under number 61/2022.
- To guarantee the availability of our bicycles, it’s essential to book in advance.
